A 1979 graduate of the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Brisbin first earned a B.S. in Zoology from UC Davis and a Master of Public Health from UC Berkeley. He practiced small animal general medicine for 13 years before deciding to focus solely on feline companions. So, in 1992, Dr. Brisbin founded Benicia Cat Clinic with the mission of providing improved health care in a peaceful, cat-friendly environment.
We are very pleased that Dr. Brisbin chose to join us here at Civic Feline Clinic where he brings his lifelong passion of animal care, emphasis on feline medicine, and special interests in internal medicine and working with geriatric cats.
He lives in Benicia with Marguerite, his wife of 45 years and his two Maine Coon cats, Rosie and Ozzie. In addition to being a grandfather of 5, Dr. Brisbin enjoys the outdoors as a pond keeper and remaining physically fit. His personal interests include cat photography, researching genealogy, reading, fishing, swimming and golfing.
We look forward to Dr. Brisbin sharing his passion for felines and for our profession along with the impressive knowledge and expertise gained from his 39-year career in veterinary medicine.
