Prescription Drugs: The hospital has a large array of pharmaceuticals for your cat’s medical condition. At the time of your cat’s examination, the doctor can determine, discuss, and dispense any appropriate medication. Federal and state laws prohibit dispensing legend and prescription drugs without a doctor-client/patient relationship. A current physical examination at our hospital of at least no more than twelve months prior is required to maintain this relationship.

Dental Care: The hospital carries home care dental products for preventive care, including (tuna flavored) toothpaste, small toothbrushes, oral sealant to help prevent plaque, and anti-bacterial mouthwash. Science Diet and Royal Canin make special dental formulas to remove plaque by abrasive and enzymatic actions.

Diets: We carry a large variety of diets for a cat’s picky palate and medical needs. Diet brands available are Science Diet, Royal Canin, Purina and Innovative Veterinary Diets. Different diet types are beneficial for growth, maintenance, weight loss, lower urinary tract disease, kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, skin conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and special needs. Doctors and staff can offer nutritional counseling at the time of your cat’s examination. Make sure to stop by and request a dietary sample.

Flea Products: You can purchase the newer, effective flea products such as Advantage, Frontline Plus, and Program at our office. Questions regarding how to best use these products are always welcome.
